Good things come to those who wait — and tonight, the wait is over! The Chiyogami bespoke brooch collection is finally ready to launch, and I could not be more excited to share it with you.
A little behind-the-scenes: this drop was originally slated for August, but the printing process needed a bit more time to get every piece right. Good news! that time has paid off, and the collection is even better for it.
Say hello to Chiyogami, a Japanese-inspired theme celebrating the traditional art of patterned paper. Rich motifs, considered colour, and pattern-on-pattern detail bring a whole new mood to two of our most-loved signature designs.
Whippets, greyhounds and Italian greyhounds have always been special to me. There's an elegance to that sleek silhouette and effortless line, whether they're mid-zoomie or curled up on the couch. Chiyogami patterns have that same sense of considered beauty, so pairing the two felt like an obvious next chapter.
Your two favourite leading houndie ladies are making a new appearance. Jean Houndlow and Rita Houndworth are adorned in Chiyogami, reminiscent of traditional Japanese kimono artwork.
